Pictorial Tuesday 2 28

A few years ago, I found a blog called Pixel Dust Photo Art where a lady named Bonnie shared her textures, and also her lovely artwork. She gave free textures as well as selling the textures made from her artwork, and also she did tutorials on how to make your photo look like a piece of art. The above photos are from one of her tutorials sharing how to achieve this effect through gradient fill. I had just found her site when shortly after she decided to take a hiatus from her blog. It is still there, but she has not returned.

The below are the photos that I used for the gradient fill technique.

Running Bunny when he saw me approach him

The rest below are just some more from that Spring day when Razzy went out to be in Sunshine and some bunnies were playing out in the back.

Hopping along....:)

Sunday Scripture Blessings 2 26

Nehemiah 8:10
Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat,
and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them
for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto
our LORD: neither be ye sorry, for the joy of the LORD
is your strength. KJV

Pictorial Tuesday 2 21

Sharing my photograph of this lovely Rose for Pictorial Tuesday. Flowers in a vase always brighten up the winter days, however, we have been blessed with record setting 60 degree days. We've washed the car, cleaned the garage floor, played ball outside with the dog so he could get some running exercise, and just enjoyed this gift of warm February weather for as long as it can last.

We send prayers to those who are not so fortunate with the snow and flooding that are happening in other parts of the country as well as other countries of the world.

Sunday Scripture Blessings 2 19

19. And I will give them one heart,
and I will put a new spirit within you;
and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh,
and will give them an heart of flesh:
20. That they may walk in my statutes,
and keep mine ordinances,
and do them and they shall be my people,
and I will be their God.
Ezekiel 11:19-20

Have a Blessed Sunday.

And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord, which is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.
And it came to pass, when our enemies heard that it was known unto us, and God had brought their counsel to nought, that we returned all of us the wall, every one unto his work.
Nehemiah 4: 14-15 KJV

King Artaxerxes allowed Nehemiah to go to Judah to begin to rebuild the Jerusalem wall that was destroyed in the siege by Nebuchadnezzar. Sanballat, a Symarian Leader, mocked and tried to hinder the rebuild.

Nehemiah 4:9 KJV Nevertheless we made our prayer unto our God, and set a watch against them day and night, because of them

Pictorial Tuesday 2 14

On my way to the gym last week, I passed a cemetery in a very small town, and thought this entrance looked interesting so I drove in to take a picture.

After pulling in, I saw this front to their burial place. Probably a local family's plot.

Even though we are mid February, I had to take a picture of how Sunny and warm today is showing 69 degrees out. We are usually knee deep in show this time of year, but I'll take it. Looks like to be a warm week. Maybe the whole winter will be mild.....can only hope. haha

This one, I edited with the Clouds Texture from Kristy at Life In Reflection

Sunday Scripture Blessings 2 12

Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us, for as many years as we have seen trouble.
May your deeds be shown to your servants, your splendor to their children.
May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us - yes,
establish the work of our hands.   Psalm 90:14-17 NIV

That we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
With Love, it is not hard to sing for joy each day. When we share Love, we share our joy with others. Sometimes, Love is shown by a simple hello or a smile. It is Love for another of our human race. God shared his Love through his Son, and when we remember that, Love comes naturally.

Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us, for as many years as we have seen trouble.
It would be hard to be glad when we feel afflicted or have years of trouble. Moses in this prayer was understanding and realizing and asking God how much longer they would be oppressed. Sometimes, our troubles seem like it is forever before God answers our prayers, but when he does, the time is melted away as we see his need for time of our reflection. A learning curve, you might say, that is needed for us to understand.

May your deeds be shown to your servants, your splendor to their children.
So many ways God reveals understanding and his splendor if we just pay attention. Or at least that's how I feel when I'm more in tune with God.

May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us - yes, establish the work of our hands.
God guided me through life with the work that made me feel fulfilled. For someone else, the jobs that I did in life before retirement maybe would have seemed humdrum or not enough for someone else, but God knew me well. Even in retirement, he still leads the work of my hands. This passage also reminds me of some of the idle hands scripture:

1 Timothy 5:13 - And withal they learn [to be] idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.

1 Thessalonians 5:14 - Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all [men].

Proverbs 31:27 - She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

Not being idle, God knew was a good thing for we humans.

Note: The above is just my interpretation of how I try to understand this scripture, and may not be the same for all as I am in no way qualified to teach scripture. Any sharings of how others interpret is welcome as always.

Blessings for this Sunday to all, and I did my scripture graphic since Tuesday is Valentine's Day in a Valentine's theme so Happy Valentine's Day to everyone.

Hubby and I don't usually celebrate Valentine's day, but since I was out shopping, I picked up some Moon Pies for him. It's one of his favorites :) He's been my Valentine for years and years, and also my very best friend.

Sunday Scripture Blessings Feb 5

For if by one man's offence
death reigned by one,
much more they which receive
abundance of grace and of
the gift of righteousness
shall reign in life by one.
Jesus Christ
Romans 5:17 KJV

For if, by the trespass of the one man,
death reigned through that one man,
how much more will those who
receive God's abundant provision
of grace and of the gift of
righteousness reign in life
through the one man,
Jesus Christ
Romans 5:17 NIV

Please share your Scripture Blessing with us. Thank you
