Pictorial Tuesday 3 27 18

The Springtime snow is melting and looks to be in 50's and warmer for this week going into Easter. Will have rain, but I think snow may be done. The weather has been up and down all Winter.

I've cooked at all the holidays since in my twenties. Kids all grown, and now with sharing with their in-laws, etc., I am getting a break. So Easter dinner, if the weather holds to be true and Sunny, hubby and I are having a cook out. No big Easter dinner, just him and I and maybe a steak on the grill. :)
Hope all have a good week.

Pictorial Tuesday 3 20 18

Hey, it's Tuesday again. For us, it seems we put the trash out for pick up on Tuesday morning, then we turn around and it's Friday already. The weeks and months seem to be flying by, which is fine, but I want them to slow down when we get to Spring and Summer.

This week is the first that we've seen the Robins out and about, and more birds chirping. The weather just keeps teasing us. Sunday was beautiful and warm as well as Monday. Razzy our furbaby got to go out and play ball Sunday in the beautiful weather and we took two walks around the yard. But, we are forecast for snow for when we usher in Spring. bah!! So here's hoping that will be our last snow. So, instead of just photos, I'm sharing a video of a Summer sunset to remind of a warm Summer's evening. Enjoy...

Please share some of your photography with Pictorial Tuesday. Digital graphics are welcome also.
Thanks and since we just had St. Patrick's day and some of my ancestors were Irish, I'll leave you with an Irish Blessing:

May there always be work for your hands to do. May your purse always hold a coin or two.
May the sun always shine upon your window pane.
May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near to you and
May God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.

Sunday Scripture Blessings 3 18 18

John 3:16-21 AMP

16 For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten ([d]unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him. 18 He who believes in Him [who clings to, trusts in, relies on Him] is not judged [he who trusts in Him never comes up for judgment; for him there is no rejection, no condemnation—he incurs no damnation]; but he who does not believe (cleave to, rely on, trust in Him) is judged already [he has already been convicted and has already received his sentence] because he has not believed in and trusted in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [He is condemned for refusing to let his trust rest in Christ’s name.] 19 The [basis of the] judgment (indictment, the test by which men are judged, the ground for the sentence) lies in this: the Light has come into the world, and people have loved the darkness rather than and more than the Light, for their works (deeds) were evil. 20 For every wrongdoer hates (loathes, detests) the Light, and will not come out into the Light but shrinks from it, lest his works (his deeds, his activities, his conduct) be exposed and reproved. 21 But he who practices truth [who does what is right] comes out into the Light; so that his works may be plainly shown to be what they are—wrought with God [divinely prompted, done with God’s help, in dependence upon Him].

From Saturday's reading...John 7 and 8

A fun Bible Journaling Tip: If you do Bible Journaling, using wordart.com is a good way to get some awesome designs to use as tip ins or copy on vellum paper or however. I did my heart one that is on my photo above and the one below at their site. WordArt.com. Some can be designed for free just using your words like the ones that I did, and I don't think you have to create an account or anything to use their site.

Pictorial Tuesday 3 13 18 ~The Artist ~ by Peabea

The Artist

Outside is being painted today…and the color of choice is white
The paint is falling down and covering the ground
Some branches of the trees, just a touch here and there
The artist is Mother Nature

Upon waking you see a clean white sheet
The flakes sparkle as they drift down
Lightly covering all that is on the ground
No tracks, no marks can be seen
The snow has washed the earth clean once again

Then the hustle and bustle of life begins
Cars driving by
People walking
Animals playing here and there

Slowly the atmosphere, gives a brownish hue
Covering the wonderful white that was there
Like the influences in life
Dirtying her up once again

Patiently we wait each day
To see what colors will be displayed
By the artist that is painting our world
Today will it be grey, white or the wonderful Green
That only Spring time can bring

Actually, I wrote this in 2010, but am reposting as it is snowing out tonight
and we will wake to a snow covered yard. And then we can look forward soon to Springtime.
And also, I really didn't prepare well for today's Pictorial Tuesday and I apologize.

Sunday Scripture Blessings 3 11 18

The crux of what Jesus is saying in Luke 11:9-10 is best explained when reading what is said as a whole so I should have added the rest of it in my photo graphic to include: Luke 11:11-13
Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!

My plan was to read the Gospels heading into the Easter season and be done by Easter Sunday. That way, I have refreshed my reading of Jesus' words and in person message to us as he walked our Earth. How glorious that must have been for the disciples.

I have finished Luke and now head on to the reading of John.

My bunny photo is from another Spring, but I am so ready to see the bunnies and the robins out playing and the early morning chirping of birds, and Coffee early morning on the patio. Alas though, the weather isn't quite there yet.

Thanks for visiting, and I look forward to your scripture sharing. They each are a blessing. Please try to visit at least a couple others who have linked. And as always, if you don't have a blog, you are always welcome to leave a scripture in the comment section. Even though I may not reply on this blog because Blogger doesn't link those reply comments to the author, I do visit each and comment there.

Happy Sunday

Pictorial Tuesday 3-6-18

Saw this growing at a local park in the Fall. No idea if it was a flower or is just a weed, but thought it looked interesting, like little lanterns maybe.

Just some trees that I added the color bar deluxe action too. I found the action on The Coffee Shop Blog site as a free action.

Happy Tuesday, and you're next if you'd like to share. Thanks.

Inspirational Quotes ~ Ourselves

No one saves us but ourselves. No one can and no one may. We alone must walk the path. ~ Buddha

As a Christian, I would have to say that we are saved by the blood of Jesus on the Cross, but I think the Buddha quote is talking about we each have a path that we walk in our daily lives. We save ourselves daily by decisions we make. No one else can walk our path, make our decisions or think for us. We do those things sometimes with the help of a friend or family, but ultimately life's choices and decisions are our own to make as we walk our unique path.

Today, I'm taking my scribbles over to McGuffy's Reader where on Monday they share some inspirational sparks to get the week off on a more positive note. Always fun to see what others are sharing. Come check it out. :)

Sunday Scripture Blessings Link Up 3 3 18

Luke 15:8-10
The Parable of the Lost Coin ~ Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Doesn't she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, 'Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.' In the same way, I tell you , there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.

There is REJOICING in the PRESENCE of ANGELS
